North East Fire Protection Systems, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1978.

NEFPSI is a second generation, family business based in Saratoga County in New York State. NEFPSI was started by Jimmy Fantauzzi and has been in continuous business with the help of his brother-in-law Mike Phinney, Longtime employee Cary Stewart and his oldest daughter, Stacey J. Fantauzzi. North East Fire Protection Systems Inc. continues to grow its lines of business from Commercial, Light Industrial and Residential with a team of experienced professionals from our in-house design team and office staff to the fabrication shop and our most valuable asset, the field employees.

Each project from design, sales, service, and fabrication and installation of fire protection systems is performed with the best possible solution for our customer.

James M. Fantauzzi

James M. Fantauzzi is the president, owner, and founder of North East Fire Protection Systems, Inc. since 1978. James earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. He has been in the sprinkler business since 1971 and a member of AFSA since 1984. In his 33 years with the AFSA, James has served as a TAC committee member since 1985 and was the Chairman of the TAC for 6 years, as well as a board member for the AFSA for 6 years in the early 90's. In addition to his service with the AFSA, he is an NFPA 25 committee member since its inception in 1990. He currently serves as an NFPA 13 Technical member of the Sprinkler System Discharge Criteria committee.

Stacey Fantauzzi

Vice President Operations
Stacey Grew up in her family business working part time during school and full time during breaks from school. Her experience at North East Fire Protection Systems, Inc. spans from time spent in the fabrication shop, to the field, as an installer, inspector, service technician, and project manager. She currently oversees the daily operations of the family business with a team of passionate professionals. Stacey studied at the Bay Path University, BS, Business Management from 2003-2006, Leadership Tech Valley from 2007-2008, and at the State University of New York at Albany, studied MBA from 2008-2010. Stacey is a current member of the AFSA Membership committee and secretary of the AFSA chapter.

WHAT DO WE DO?

NEFPSI is a full-service Fire Protection Company.

We provide a full suite of services from design and engineering to fabrication and installation. We partner with many developers to provide solution based and value-added options for design-build projects.

Our Fire Protection services include sprinkler inspection, testing, and maintenance, system repair, modifications, and code violations corrected, water flow tests, fire sprinkler design, commercial, industrial, and residential installations, fire pump service, and installation.

NEFPSI is a qualified team of professionals. 

We have a full team of experienced professionals to inspect, test and maintain your fire sprinkler system. North East Fire Protection Systems, Inc. has trained and certified NYS backflow prevention testers on staff.

Our team of service technician travels from the eastern border of New York into Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Our western line travels north to south along Franklin, Herkimer, Otsego and Delaware counties and south to Westchester. As a member of the American Fire Sprinkler Association, we also partner with other experienced and professional fire sprinkler companies in the surrounding states.
